1.2. How to Delete a User Account

In most cases, patrons will not need to create a new user account within the Palace app because they will access collections by using the same library barcode and password associated with their local public or academic library accounts. However, some libraries allow patrons to create a new user account within the Palace app in order to access collections using a virtual library card. A user account that is created as a virtual library card can be deleted by the patron using the steps described below.

1. Login to the Virtual Library Card application
2. Click the red “DELETE MY PROFILE” button
3. Confirm by clicking the “Yes, I want to delete my profile” button
4. The user account will be deleted immediately
